Homemade Antenna

Principle: Think about where you are going to use your antenna and start collecting the associated information to design it. For example, you might need antenna to enhance the signal for your TV, ham radio, tracking satellite, or the signal from celestial bodies in outer space. The basic things you should notice are impedance matching, vertical or horizontal polarization,  and direction to gain effective aperture.
