Distance to the Sun

Motivation: Think of a method to measure the distance from Earth to Sun and do the experiment to check the result. Usually, the following methods can be used to measure the distance from Earth to Sun:

Method 1:  Use a long base line with known distance and measure the angles of the sunlight at both end of the base line.

Method 2:  Use the solar spectrum to find Doppler shift.

Method 3: Use Kepler's law to obtain the ratio of radi of the Earth and other planet.  And Parallax measurement to obtain the distance from Earth to other planet.
